What is diagnostic assessment?
Diagnostic assessment is the process of testing and checking a device for faults to determine the cause of a problem and to be able to currently repair the problem.
We can preform an assessment on devices with water damage, that won’t power on or have other issues such as no cellular service or charging problems.
We charge a small fee of $35 to cover our time, expertise, tools and overhead expenses.

From the outside of your phone it can be hard to determine if water has enter the inside of the device. If your phone has been in contact with any form of liquid water we recommend assessment to dry out and check for any internal damage.
Do I need to make an appointment?
There is no need to make a booking. Just pop in during out open hours and allow 2 hours for your repair. You can wait in-store, visit one our the many local cafes in New Brighton or pop back once its ready to collect. Check out our opening hours.
Can I pay with Buy Now, Pay Later like Afterpay?
Yes, we are happy to offer Afterpay, Laybuy and Genoapay for purchases/repairs over $50. Please note Afterpay is not available on mail-in repairs.
Do you accept EFTPOS?
Yes, we accept EFTPOS and Credit Cards. Please note credit cards incur a surcharge.
Why do you need my passcode?
We need it to test new parts to ensure they are working by giving the device back to you. We do this, so you don’t have to come back if a component in your repair is faulty such as a speaker. For security reasons all iPhone’s require a passcode to be entered before any function of the device can be used. With iOS 11 this includes charging an iPhone after an hour.
Does my repair come with a warranty?

Will my broken parts be recycled?
Mobile phone parts can contain harmful and dangerous materials as well as many reusable materials such as metals and glass. We use local recyclers to ensure materials from phone batteries, mobile screens and electronic devices are repurposed and hazardous materials disposed of properly.
