Service Highlight: eWaste Recycling

Whilst we recycle all eWaste and broken parts on repairs we also accept mobile phones and tablets for end of life disposal in-store.

Why Recycle Electronic Waste

  • Electronic devices can contain hazardous chemicals such as: lead, mercury, cadmium, and arsenic.
  • Lithium ion batteries pose a fire risk if damaged, crushed or punchered.
  • Recycling allows reusable materials such as aluminium to be repurposed and hazardous materials to be disposed of properly.

Before disposing of your device:

  • Power off the device.
  • If the battery is removable remove it.
  • Preform a factory restore to remove all personal data.
  • Remove your SIM card and SD card. You can use a paper clip to eject the sim tray.

How To Recycle Electronic Waste

The easiest option is to pop in to our store and ask to have your device recycled. We collect these devices along with our other electronic waste from repairs such as screens, batteries, cameras, frames and logic boards.
